That ol' boy has some meat on his bones and a good size neck.  When does the rut begin in your neighborhood?

A good "problem" to have.  Your good neighbor may get a chance.

Yeah, seems like our friend to the North puts a high priority on anything food.  Not that that's a bad thing, either.  Abraham Maslow agrees, too.

I had a brother like that, as well.  Took him to a restaurant with an "all you can eat" fish dinner special when he was down and out and was hungry.  I sat across from him at a small table and had only a soft drink, because I wasn't there to eat.

Each plate had 3 pieces of fish and fries.  After his third plate, the waitress came over to our table and warned both of us that there is to be no sharing.  I'm sure they kept an eye on us and after three more meals of fish (making 6 dinners), we had been there for some time and my brother said we should probably leave.  (I don't think he was full yet, either!)

Next time I saw him, he told me he had been banned from the restaurant.  Guess that was all he could eat.

Lol. That last line made me chuckle.

When I was in California training kitchen people for Red Lobster we had an “ all you can eat crab” special, 6 college kids came and sat for four hours the group ate 25 1/2 pounds of crab and a lot of beer. One of the guys only did it for a little bit. Unfortunately his dinner ended on someone else’s car. It weren’t pretty.

That kind of hoggery ain't pretty; that's for sure.  Kinda like those pigs eating hot dogs in New York.  Don't wanna watch that, either.

One more story about my big brother, who passed away a few years ago.

When we were both in the Boy Scouts, the troop held one of those all-you-can-eat pancake dinners.  Came with sausage and I think that was all.  Another big boy who we called Bull - short for bulldozer - weighed in at 198 pounds.  In the sixth grade.  Bull challenged my brother to a contest at the function:  who could eat the most pancakes.  My brother blew Bull away and choked down 53 pancakes and some sausage.

Bull had an excuse, though, for losing:  He ate a spaghetti dinner before the pancake-eating contest.  Didn't really matter.  Think my brother would have eaten 100 pancakes to win, if he had really been challenged.

Some great stories guys, unfortunately I also have been asked to leave a few smorgs (Kansas,Spokane) to name a few, at a casino in Idaho they were having a steak and lobster smorg, Cindy was disgusted and rushed me out of there, I only had 26 lobster and 5 t-bones, geez.

We're making sauerkraut right now, 28 pints salsa yesterday, 36 qts. tomatoes a few days ago to name a few.

That's all right, could have been the speech I received prior to the visit, have cut way back over the years though Cindy doesn't think so.
