Hello all,

We are reaching out to let our communities know that we have implemented SSL and HTTPS security layers today.

If you notice any issues, please report them in the Community to Team section and we will get them addressed ASAP.

Thanks in advance,

Your Community Management Team

Never kick a dead coyote, especially one that ain't dead when your gun is still in the kitchen. Just ask your favorite Yooper what will happen. But if its a bobcat in a 330 coni and you think he's dead,,,,,Think again..

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please God, don't take Kevin Bacon !

RIP Chris Miller

And what exactly is this security measure you have implemented??? πŸ€” I hope it address the users on here who are sending πŸ’»πŸ–₯ private messages πŸ–₯πŸ’» to each other, but have never made a single post...ever!

P.S. I am somewhat computer illiterate so this may sound off the wall. Can whoever runs the site purge the "so-called members" who haven't participated at all?

I know people lurk for a time before they make a post... a few months? Sure. A year πŸ€”. More than a year... someone needs to take a good πŸ”

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Thanx πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

It's like this....those members will never go away.  As in, the less members on the site, the less the site is worth.  So it's in the best interest of the forum owners to let them do whatever weird predator hunting forum private message man on man dating service they have going on.  I agree that every person on this site without a single post should be kicked because they do not contribute (as in every other forum I know of), but that unfortunately isn't reality because the mighty $ controls everything.

Now, onto something I found on the website.

When posting a reply to a topic, the site used to show a post in the thread when you hit the "post" button.  A few times I have posted, the site acted as if I didn't post.  When I went to top of page and refreshed, it showed up in the thread.

I totally understand the member numbers... I am more concerned about ones who are sending PM' s and have never posted once.
It seems every time I look at the community index, someone who has never posted is private massaging. I know PT can check ip addresses πŸ€”

What does AdminJ think?

Private massaging?  Getting a bit personal there, AZ.

Eric, ip addresses can be checked, I'm sure, however, anyone who is going to engage in nefarious acts would likely have the smarts to mask their address.

Can't upload pictures without first getting into the "browse" feature in "preview post."  Wondering if it's only me.

No. There have been several members( and administrators) that are having issues.

They have suggested that we clear our cookies and cache.

I use Firefox and have only had the notifications button go on the fritz for a few days. My phone works just fine too.
