Fox season opened here in Wv for night hunting in Jan 2. We made 7 stands the first night and called in one gray on stand 4. The next night made one stand and called in a double. That was it for the first week of the season. This week we set one evening and called in a bobcat my son took. Then last night went back to where we had the double last week and called in another double last night. Not big numbers but still a great time in the outdoors and stacking up some more fur.3fbf4eed6f6eea30027c17026a551216.jpg96da302fc3fd321abd208e942c0a0f96.jpged3249a9f38c03a8fa7eebd3e2fcfc4c.jpgb70434b4600611b2f3eb6ea5d75344bc.jpg

Love that cat pic!  The Arizona contingent always likes to see fox from east of the Mississippi and those look good.  And, snow!

What caliber?

I use a 17 WSM. Use to use a 17 HMR but stepped up to this rifle and love it.

My oldest loves hunting with me and she wants to shoot a coyote like there's no tomorrow. Congrats on the hunts.

Right on, sounds like a good start to the season!  What light are you running on your rifles?
