I know spring has pretty well gone by But I haven't noticed any of the bear hunter's reporting into the site this year? Seems like the step-daughter and live in took this spring bear hunt off the bucket list -- they usually get 2 or 3 every year!!  Anyone been out and about??

The good time here has come and gone.  My trip got cancelled due to partner backing out and bad weather coming, which was bad wind and rain.  Setting on the boat waiting for the weather to improve before going home would have been long.

Last of the seasons ended June 15th.

I was out 6 times in April, hunted hard. The LAST trip out we found bear poop and that's it , never saw a bear. The SNOW was and IS a tuff mistress this year...

Thanks guys - haven't been out and about to hear if anyone has gotten anything around my area this year, brother  in law works at the reserve 4 miles south of me and was out doing some stuff with a co-worker when they spotted a Griz. with 2 cubs , same area where they have had to post signs the last couple years to be bear aware.

I didn't draw my tag for the fall hunt. But I can still get an archery tag, in a first come basis when they come available. Gonna try to get one. I seen a few bears this spring. When I was turkey hunting I saw a beautiful, big blonde boar that I would love to hang my tag on.

Never kick a dead coyote, especially one that ain't dead when your gun is still in the kitchen. Just ask your favorite Yooper what will happen. But if its a bobcat in a 330 coni and you think he's dead,,,,,Think again.. And we know you were wearing less than your PJ's on the last one you shot !
