I feel exactly the same when it comes to wives. My first one got sent back.

Was that a factory recall or was she still under warranty?

It should have been a Factory recall, she was defective. The factory wanted nothing to do with her so I sent her to the trash pile. She fit right in there.

No such problems with my wife Don ,if anything she is generous to a fault ..

I'm still allowed to trap.raccoons so I checked the box on the log today Rick and the coni was hanging from the box ,sprung with one clip still o the spring. Bait was still there so something must have gotten a scare and abandoned ship.

Here's a calf we.pulled yesterday afternoon,all 108 # of him. Was a tight fit but he's doing well. Fishing season closes for a couple.months starting the 16th so decided to try for a walleye for supper. I found wm but couldn't make em bite.

So the clip was the spring safety lock ? would have been a crazy jump with one side going off. Oh well. That's a nice size pickeral.

Had a wreck with a bull today ,rest of the bulls ganged up on him and broke a leg so had to put him down ..they been getting g along so well that I don't know what set them off ..

One hilight today tho I posted the pic of the fox and raccoons on another hunting forum . Got a.message from registered trapper on behalf of the Alberta Trappers assn.asking if I would sell them the raccoons for a skinning demonstration at their Rendezvous/ Convention in July . They also wanted me to do the demo ,which I declined because July is one of the busiest months for me ...besides I'm not much of a skinner. However I did tell him they could have the raccoons at no cost and I would try and make it to take part ..I have another buddy lined up to do the skinning .

The cattle business would be a lot less stressful without bulls but we got to have them. We got 126 of them in 3 smaller pastures as we are really pouring the feed to them this time of year so their condition will be good when we turn them out in 60 days. There seems to be something happening in those 3 pastures every week.
On a different note look at how sad fur prices are around here

Talked to a guy and he got 7 wolves and 60-80 martin this last year in the winter trapping. Martin are a high priced fur any time.

Yeah those prices suck for sure beaver is the only fur that seems to be selling for a almost fair price

Those prices are just plain nasty Murphy...have to buy a couple bulls for sure again,nothing near what you have tho..I imagine they will be expensive...again .

Today is the sale ,got lotting letter back and have 2 in second lot,select heavy B..3 in 3rd lot select heavy C ...great !! Test are scattered down thru .fingers crossed ...o ly 40,00 on sale, hope that helps
