The snow is finaly gone and the rivers are starting to breakup in this area. the intiorer of the state the rivers are expected to flood due to snow pack melt and higher temps. Some rivers have ice jams on them already.

Morning PT friends, a balmy 3°C here this morning, supposedly warming to 21° today with chance of a thunderstorm again ..fixed fence on the summer range yesterday and pulled SD Cards that have been out for 10 days . Lots of deer and cow elk and a surprise ...spooked me abit when this big eye showed up on the computer screen but not totally surprised as I had seen digging in a nearby valley...looks like he's back for a bit .

Also glad I wired on the camera as the elk has taken a licking or liking to the straps..lol

In my opinion that is not a elk, unless the ones you have are different than the ones I have seen. I got many pics of deer last fall when we were hunting. some that were kind of intresting in that it looked like they backed up to the trail cam and mooned it. By the way that one was a male as well, but eye ball pics as well. Good pics!!
Morning, water table dropped probably a foot this week, heat wave coming they say, 1 slash pile left to burn before they put on the fire bans. Put my cards back in the 2 cameras, some elk have been seen in the area, hoping for a third gen. mom to have her calf in front of the lense. Pretty cool pic's.
