I have a new begara b14 .243 22" 1:10
I am looking at cooking up some loads for this. I have some 55gr noslerBT and thinking about getting some 70gr noslerBT.
I like the speed I can push the 55's but I like the thump of the 70's. Does any one have a good load to push the 70's 3500FPS+. At the moment I have some hogdon CFE223 max load puts me at 3400 and that might be plenty fast. I thermal hunt and want something that will be forgiving if I'm a little off on distance. Shoulder hold 25yrds-275.

I shoot the 55 NBT’s out of my 243 and the 80’s only when it’s windy. I’m not sure why you’d want to shoot anything but the 55’s except for the windy days. I load mine behind a healthy dose of IMR4895 you can hold on fur past 300 yds. I’ve never had an exit with that load. I once cut into one and the insides were like jello.

Yes sir ! I’ve run them to just shy of 4000 and they do well. I backed off just a hair so as not to burn my barrels out.
