Thanks. I think I’m just going to start recording the entire hunt when I set up then go back and either delete the video if nothings out or edit it if a shot is taken to clip out the excess recording. Just seems more of a hassle to me but unfortunately when the action starts I get in the zone planning the shot and completely forget about the video.

I did remember once though and it turned out nice. I’ll see if I can find it to post here.

Distance was roughly 125yds using my 22 Nosler and 55g ballistic tip bullets. Complete pass though each time but both hits tore her up pretty good. 3 shots in total with hits on 1st and 3rd.

I just installed a new bait station over a pond. The shot will be from a deer stand that’s 316 yards from the station. We fired 3 shots. First was at a paper target with handwarmer followed then two at a 1/2 gallon apple juice jug full of hot water. Using 16x power the 1st shot at the handwarmer was about 3.5” right and slightly high but there was 3-5mph crosswind causing some of right of zero I think. I did attempt to hold 4-5” inches above the handwarmer. Weapon is zeroed about 1.5” high at 100 yards. Second shot was a clean miss to the right of the jug (2-3” right) and 3rd shot centered it creating a nice big hole out the back. Keep in mind this was off a bipod so not from a solid bench position. After further testing I found a better rest by using the window along with pressing my feet against the walls of the blind creating solid pressure further stabilizing my position. Will be interesting to see how this goes. I have a new cell camera on order and will place on the station next week. Stay tuned and I’ll try to remember to video everything this time.
