I am looking for any loading data for the .204 Ruger.
Does anyone have any experience with the heaver 40
and 45 Gr. bullets versus the lighter 32 Gr. bullets on
pelt damage?

I load the 39 gr. Sierra Blitzking with 24 grs. H-322. In my Savage, it is about 3600 fps mv. I have taken several coyotes with this load from about 70 yards with the longest being 311 yards. Though not as fast as the 32 gr., it stays flatter once you hit 200 yds. and actually holds more speed and much more energy at the longer distances. Most of the dogs taken had one hole in, none out.

i prefer the Berger 35gr also at this point, but have heard several say they have good results with the 39gr bk's. I just haven't had time to work a load for them yet. More often than not the bergers never exit but have bang-flop performance.
