The top picture is when I returned from Panama and went commercial salmon fishing, its a small blue shark that nobody thought we had, the 27" Rainbow I caught when I lived at top end of BC and went ice fishing the plane in the background was mine, the Peacock Bass from when I was living in Panama and my buddy Gerry who moved to outside San Antonio Texas, passed away in 04,the Dolphin fish also in Panama caught three that day,the big Blue Shark my Brother caught on the salmon boat he worked on, the Whitetail Buck I shot on the last day of the season with my cousin Pete which was his first year of ever hunting and was a train engineer who hit a rock slide 3 months later and went into the lake north of here and never made it out. Should have did this at the start, Oh Well!!!!

I haven't eaten it but the Portuguese who live around the Victoria area will buy, trade or whatever it takes to get a hold of some blue shark!!!

With the weather changing so much around the world in 81 the Japanese current which is very warm would only get within 60 miles of our coastline, now its right on our coast which brings in warm water fish not common for here- man eater sharks- Blues, Great whites etc. plus all the junk fish that come with the warm water!!!

It's funny how looking at someone elses pics reminds me of things from my own past, places I've been and things I've seen. Thanks for sharing, and reminding me of those times.

All of these pictures reminded me of a service I use called ScanCafe. They will individually scan and restore all of your old pictures. I have started to gather all of the photos I can from both sides of my family, and I let ScanCafe scan and restore them and then I burn them to disk so that my kids have them later. I think it's a great way to be sure the old photos are passed on. If interested, the link is below.
