Tossing around the idea about getting into reloading later on.Mainly because you can't hardly gett 22-250 around here.I'm not going to get anything to expensive tp start with.Does anyone no the difference between the Lee Challanger kit and their Anniversary kit?

looks like the challenger kit has the Auto-Prime handhelp priming ssytem. I think that is the only major difference upon a quick glance. Personally I prefer the turret presses but that kit doesn't come with all of the nice options as the challenger kit. I would want to buy a few extra peices to make things go faster if you went with the turret kit. I think that the challenger kit would keep you going for quite a while. The advantage of the turret press is that you can leave all of your dies setup exactly the same for each reloading sessions. you would still need to double check them each session though just for the odd case that something got changed. you can't beat the challenger press for a decent little press and other components for a cheap price.

What do you other guys think?

Thanks for the help. I don't get to shoot alot so getting alot done quick isn;t going to be a problem so I don't think I need a turret press just yet. With the interchangable bushings I think you can leave your dies set on this one as well.

I think you're right about the bushings Batman, I went to their web site leeprecision.com and their descriptions are the same but the ann. kit does not show the safety-prime shell holders in the picture. For hunting ammo this press will do you just fine, now if you want to start competing in matches or are loading large amounts of ammo I would suggest starting with a higher end product. the lee presses are fairly well made and should last quite a long time with moderate use.

I agree with youngdon on the lee press . Thats what I use , been using the same press for several years now with no problems. And also they are reasonably priced to ,you can always up grade later.
