coyote hunting in vt

i'm the first to sign up in vermont section on coyote hunting on pretator talk.com when some one finds this would they be nice to correspond with me on what they know on coyote hunting

i m from vt but usually only hunt yotes in the winter when i m not hunting or scouting for deer ...
we called in 15 and got 5 last winter

just heard that electronic calls are illegal in vt. the book says turkey and geese can you update my possible dissapointment

I checked with the Fish and Game dept last year and was told that electronic calls were legal for Bear and yotes, nothing else. Electronic calls and manual calls are only thing legal for bear, Can't even use scent. Double check with VT F & G to be sure. I'm located in Danville anyone near by?

On my early post (by nothing else I meant no other game.) As far as I know baiting yotes is legal I believe however best to check with authorities to be sure Don't take my word for it. Getting old ain't what I thought it would be. I hope I didn't stear anyone wrong.

I'm from & still live in Vermont. I'm just getting around to seriously hunt coyotes. There are WAY too many around where I live. I have purchased a foxpro scorpion electronic caller & one of those movign decoys. no luck yet but this spring I'm taking a trappers course

Just joined up here from Addison co. We run. Them with hounds. Like running rabbits just travel in bigger circles till they see one person then there out of there. Killed 16 last year in a one mile patch of woods. Always looking for people to come join the fun. All we use is shot guns due to the houses in area and the fact we're in the woods doing quick shots.
