We had about 2 to 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. I sent the dogs up a track that had crossed the road. I slowly made my way up the hill behind them. Trapper Mike came up the hollow & Mike L came from the top of the hill. Adam drove around across the hollow & stayed on top of the other hill. After about 45 minutes they got it jumped. They ran it down through the timber cut & across the othe side to a newer cut. They circled over there for a while & I could hear them coming for me. When all of a sudden They turned & ran straight away & Adam downed it. He said it was still rolling & Razzle dove on it. I found where the second yote went back into the first cut. Trapper Mike met up with Adam & he brought the dogs down to me. I cut them on the track. After about 1/2 hour they jumped it & the race was on again. They circled the first cut for a little while then headed up the hollow away from us all. Trapper Mike was making his way to them. The dogs kept baying the yote up but then it would break bay. They must of bayed it up 20 times, but we couldn't get to them. I met up with Mike L & we each took a side of the hollow & started closing in when they turned & came for us. I finally was able to catch the yote sneaking down a frozen creek bottom.
