I was thinking about taking my dog out to use as a decoy/distraction. He's a 100 pound Rottweiler and I was wondering if y'all think he would intimidate the 25-45 pound coyotes we have out here and make them stop short or if he might present a territorrial challenge and bring them in close? Open to opinions/suggestions. Thanks.

My best decoy dog is a 110# Catahoulla. Dogs can't tell size, but the can read body language. If a dog fights a yote, and the yote is losing it will run off. But if the dog decoys as they should, size does not matter.

Would like to know the same. Would love to take my dog out, but wondered if she might spook them. She is not trained for decoying...

I like the looks of your dog!
One look at mine and the coyotes would more then likely run the other way,He's pretty ugly!

What part of "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" is so complicated?
