Anthony 41yrs old coming in Rapid City, SD thanks to the Air Force - 21yrs and serving. New to predator hunting, figured I'd use this site to educate myself on set-ups and techniques. I'm into a lot of things...

Fly FIshing, Ice FIshing - Fishing
Mt. Biking
Jeeps - rock crawling or trail riding
VW - slow and low
Turkey hunting, Dove, Grouse, Duck and Goose - Achery for Deer
Geocaching
Hanging out with my 2 boys who are 6 & 10

Basically I love the outdoors and I thank god for the area I live in.

Anthony

Thanks for the welcomes! My 10yr old has been hunting with me since he was 5. My 6yr old started when he was 4. He asked if he could shoot birds with me. He walked a .5 mile field up and back his first day out. They've both been on a few turkey hunts, walked many fields for birds and 3 coyote hunts with me. Even though a couple of my hunts I was UNsuccessful, it was a good father son or sons day. Which is more satisfying than a boring day stuck in the house. LOL

it sounds like you have a couple of diehard hunters on your hands. I'll bet the 10yr old is chomping at the bit to shoot his own coyote.

We have a deal, if more than one comes in during calling I will kill the 1st one and then he will take the next. Here's a video from an outing with a group of folks from work. My son's both shooting their 10/22s and then my oldest on the AR. 1 min in he shoots a container of Tannerite. Fun times with good people and my boys. They can put a 22lr through a prairie dog's eye at 50yrds. LOL

Any time we can get out together we have fun. Having the folks from work there made it even more fun for the boys. They got to see other weapons in action.

That was awesome, thanks for sharing. 1 question-- who was the unlucky person down-range that had to stand in front of all those shooters with an apple on their head HA!!!
