Make sure you read this thread, top to bottom. http://www.predatort...venture-recall/
I love my TC Venture two oh four. Just make sure it has been inspected or fixed.

Welcome to the forum OKhunter08.

I've heard good about the venture, I think you'll be happy. There area lot of choices out there today and many of them are excellent shooters.

Iv heard mostly good about the ventures, i have not shot one, but i have shot a few of thompsons muzzle loaders and they make some of the best. I tell ya this i would choose the venture over alot of the other rifles in that price range.

Im a little pissed at the country right now

I've heard great things about the Venture...The recall could happen to any manufacturer...I wouldn't worry as long as the gun & box have the "checks" as explained in the recall notice...I'd buy one w/o hesitation.. : )

Sub MOA guarantee, and they mean it. I can group my 204 in a dime. The scope was junk, I put a Vortex on and it rocks, so forget the package deal, you're better off buying gun and scope seperate. It's very light and handles well. The magazine is made of zytel but I have had no problems there. Trigger breaks clean and crisp. The gun feels good in the hands and could easily be packed all day. Since I had mine recalled, I sent it back and service was top notch as stated above. It's all I hunt with now......
