Anybody around central mo havin any luck with the cats or even seeing any? I personally have never seen one in this area

Yes there must be they took 3 in northern MO at the contest.

I've not killed one yet but I've seen a few around. I have several friends who frequently see them around the Truman Lake / Lake Ozark area and also areas around the Missouri River

I've yet to call one, but a buddy shot one during archery bow season near Brookfield. Another friends dad shot one opening day of firearm season. And just a few weeks ago a guy I hunt on shot on at his place near Smithville Lake. They are around...

They are very common, and really good at seeing you before you see them. I used to trap in MO along with a couple of other guys. My friend Ricky really has them dialed in. He caught a 42 pound Tom a few years back near smithville.
