plan on shooting some fox or coyote with my 17Hmr. hoping on one shooting one kill.
thanks, i like mine alot also i have tough of get a more powerful gun to.
how on earth are killin yotes with a 17hmr? i have to use my .223 mini 14 or they just dont go down.
shot placement my friend, its all about shot placement. i've seen poachers that were caught killing deer with a 17 hmr, i would have never believed it if i didn't see it with my own 2 eyes. not something i would recommend, i myself prefer a .223 just as you do, but a 17 hmr will definitely get the job done.how on earth are killin yotes with a 17hmr? i have to use my .223 mini 14 or they just dont go down.
looks like I will be saving for a while for that 22-250 was just looking it up looks like a nice gun.
.22-250 is probably the most popular caliber for coyotes. I know I love both of mine! Of course I also love my .223AI and .243AI and my..................well you get the idea!LOL
As for the .17hmr, not a coyote round in my opinion. I know alot of guys use em, and kill yotes with em, but not something I would ever try.
