Me and my dad went hunting yesterday at 2 conservstion areas. The first place is just all feilds and little woods and my dad and i have never seen so much sign. We made 7 picture perfect stands. Just like out of the videos and wte ended up with notin. We saw 2 on about 2 miles away from the public land in the morning. Than we went to another place and huntes and as were driven by to go to a new stand we saw a wolf. Just kidding it was a huge yote with a black mask. We thought it was a wolf because he was so huge. Than on the way home we got a call to go on some private land with lots of bobcats but we were headed home so were goin back in a couple of weeks. Does anybody have input on the knight&Hale easy howler or the primos mini howler? Best of luck to anybody who gets any cause we didnt drop any fur.
Keep trying swmike, if you are making "picture perfect" stands you'll have one soon. Sometimes they are just not interested.
Fyi bobcat season is closed in Mo.
It's great to hear about a father and son hunting together. Never stop trying. One day you'll hit it just right and probably take your first of what I'm sure will be many more varmints. Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your hunt.
Bobcat closed in SD too I think. ..maybe next season
